2022 Ram 1500 Trim Levels
- Tradesman
As the base trim level, the Tradesman has all of the basics that you need from a light-duty pickup truck, featuring a 3.6-litre Pentastar engine as its standard powertrain paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. With this engine, the Tradesman has 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque, and it also gets an additional 90 lb-ft of launch torque thanks to its eTorque mild-hybrid system.
- Big Horn
Upgrading to the Big Horn trim level maintains the same powertrain option while adding more features such as chrome auto-dimming power-folding heated mirrors, leather-wrapped steering wheel, cloth bench seating, and carpet flooring.
- Sport
With the Sport trim level, the standard powertrain option becomes the 5.7-litre HEMI V8 engine, increasing output figures to 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. With the V8 engine, the Ram 1500 can achieve a maximum towing capacity of 12,750 pounds. Other features of the Sport trim level consist of heated front seats and steering wheel, a power 12-way adjustable driver's seat, and a Uconnect 5 multimedia centre with a 12-inch touchscreen.
- Rebel
As one of the off-road-oriented trim levels, the Rebel maintains the same engine option as the Sport trim level while having the 3.0-litre EcoDiesel engine as optional. To support its off-road performance, the Rebel has Bilstein performance shocks, electronic shift-on-the-fly part-time transfer case, ELocker electronic-locking differential, a 3:92:1 axle ratio, hill descent control, skid plates, and tow hooks.
- Laramie
The Laramie's engine options are the same as the Rebel while also having a 5.7-litre HEMI V8 engine with the eTorque mild-hybrid system. This trim level adds more luxurious features inside and out, such as heated and ventilated front seats with a driver's memory function, ten-amplified speakers, dual-zone climate control, and chrome exterior accents.
- Limited Longhorn
Upgrading to the Limited Longhorn maintains the same engine options as the Laramie while including many more enhancements. Some of those enhancements include 20-inch aluminum wheels, full-leather-faced bucket seats, heated and reclining second-row seats, bi-functional LED projector headlamps, a spray-in bedliner, and a remote tailgate release.
- Limited
The Limited trim level has the same engine options as the previous trims. You can expect this trim level to be the most luxurious and comfortable thanks to its unique features, such as luxury full-leather-faced bucket seats, active-level four-corner air suspension, and power side steps.
- TRX
The TRX has the most powerful engine in the lineup, and its off-road performance is unmatched. Powering the TRX is the exclusive 6.2-litre supercharged V8 engine, cranking out astonishing output figures of 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, allowing for excellent overall performance. The TRX also comes with 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory all-terrain tires, a navigation function for its touchscreen, and a TRX performance hood with a functional air scoop and heat extractors.
